We needed to replace a house that was in bad way on one of our farms so we reached out to a couple of companies to get some competitive pricing. We chose Jennian Homes for a few really important reasons for us: 1. They reached out to us right away with some great house estimates and the opportunity to pop in and have a chat; 2. Shane who made the initial contact was very easy to communicate with us and presented some great options and worked the price to meet our budget; 3. The general culture in the office was open, honest and very friendly and I felt really comfortable sitting down and chatting with the whole team; 4. I outlined our values and what we wanted from the process, which was clear and consistent communication with a hands-off approach from our end and felt assured that they would nail this for us.

I found the design process really easy. I chose a home, we had some minor tweaks, and before I know it we were building exactly when we were expecting to. The building process was really easy too. There were minimal issues, and if there was anything that needed to be sorted they made sure to get in contact and we would work out some options with no issues. Everyone was really easy to talk to.

They had great communication, kept me in the loop without being over the top. Really accommodating as the ASF team can be pretty busy and can struggle to lock in things at the last minute, but we would be given adequate notice and we would find something to suit all parties. We also had a couple of things added on throughout the build and it was no stress for them to work out pricing quickly and organize the works to be done.

The build quality is really good, and the attention to detail with making sure any defects were rectified was second to none, kudos to Sam and the team on the ground. Keep hold of the team you have as it functions really well, with a smile, that’s so important for people looking to build their new home.

I heard really good feedback about Jennian Homes and they have a good reputation. Shane and Carl are both excellent in their jobs and they have a wide knowledge of the building industry. We chose to build with Jennian homes as we found Shane & Carl good to work with, we felt they grasped what our needs were in a new home build, and were keen to help us build what we wanted, while keeping within our budget. We first looked at Jennian because a friend of ours had recommended them and they had a nice house. We did look at a few other companies, one in particular. We found the other company to be very rigid in their selection of house plans. The guy was a salesman but had no knowledge of building whatsoever. So what made us choose Jennian was that we were allowed to build the house that we actually wanted, instead of having to pick one from a brochure.
In the design process it was good that they planned the house to fit on the section, and also included all of the things that we wanted in the house. Communication was prompt throughout and they were able to follow through on what they had planned, and also in a timely manner.

Going through the quoting and screening process of who to select to build with, Jennian came through as our preferred option with a great, simple design that suited what we were after and within the price range we wanted. Everything was well communicated and I really appreciated the weekly text message updates from Carl to let me know how things were tracking. Overall a fantastic building experience.
