Once the working drawings are happening, this is where you really start to see your home take shape.
This part of the process can take a few meetings, as working through the design is important and our design team takes the time to really make sure your home design has all the aspects you wish for, within your budget!
During this time you will continue to work with the sales team to complete the custom specification of your home and choosing the colours, textures and fittings that meet your personal style and tastes.
And once you're happy that the drawings match your dreams, your Jennian Homes consultant will prepare your final quote. This way, you'll know exactly what your new home will cost before construction starts.
At Jennian we match your staged payments to build progress, saving you money when drawing down finance.
We take the time to explain everything clearly such as:
- Provisional Sums – for items which may proceed but are not a certainty (e.g. decks, landscaping).
- Prime Cost Sums – included items where e.g. customer material selections are not known yet (e.g. bathroom fittings).
- Practical Completion – the date your house is complete except for minor remedial work that does not prevent you from moving in.
- Variations – any change to the scope of works to be carried out under the contract. This applies to additional work, deletions and substitutions.
Your Jennian Homes team will ensure you understand the agreement and provide clarification where needed.
Upon finalising your building plans and confirming the cost of your intended home, you will also confirm how you wish to finance your new home build.
