From Vision to Reality: Ben and Stacey’s Dream Home in Maungatapere

Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Maungatapere Whangarei, this special project was a joy from the very beginning. Ben and Stacey came to Jennian Homes Northland with a simple plan and a clear vision—but they needed expert guidance to make the most of their land and create a home that would grow with them over the years. Thanks to Jennian’s design and build process, their ideas quickly took shape. Now, they’re proud to share their journey and the beautiful home they’ve built.

What made Jennian Homes Northland different when planning your build versus other home builders you spoke with?

We really felt the pressure to commit with other companies, without really knowing what we were signing up for. When we came and started working with you, we felt like we were heard, you showed us what you could do for us, before we committed to the build. With other companies we felt quite stressed, but once we began working with you, it was really so easy.

How did you find the construction process?

It was really good, with no issues, Dan was great to deal with, he always answered our questions, and we felt fully informed.

With your rural build, was there any surprise’s during your build?

No, everything was communicated really clearly, if we had any queries or there was a issue, it was sorted out really fast. Not that there really was anything that needed sorting!

Big question – would you build with Jennian Homes again?

Absolutely! Yeah, without a doubt. The whole project has been pretty cruisey and we are totally stoked. Rena was really transparent and told us right at the start what to expect, so there was no surprise’s and we knew we could trust you guys.
