Debbie Payne, who owns the franchise with Hayden Davies, says the continued recognition acknowledges the great effort the team puts into keeping the business among the best of the 30 franchises operated around the country year after year.
“We take pride in ensuring all our homes are at a consistently high standard and this award is both reassuring and motivating,” says Payne.
“We are a home-building company and our priority is service and great construction so we continue to attract repeat customers. We do this through constant communication with our loyal sub-contractors and ensuring our timelines are met, and high standards of workmanship are maintained.”
Jennian Homes chief operating officer Aidan Jury says the Otago franchise is once again deserving of the top award, as its ability to be a consistent top performer raises the standard within the organisation.
All Jennian franchisees are benchmarked by a rigorous scoring programme which details financial and non-financial indicators, including local market share, use of national support office systems and processes, and community involvement.
“We are proud of the growth and progress of all our regional franchisee teams. However, once again Debbie and Hayden have excelled in all expectations.
“They have worked hard to establish themselves as a consistent performer within Jennian Homes, and an integral part of the Otago community, and are reaping the rewards of this.”
As well as being a high-achieving business, the Otago franchise is very involved in the community, supporting local netball and organising the Otago leg of the Jennian Homes Mother’s Day Fun Run/Walk – an annual event that aims to raise funds for the Heart Foundation and generate awareness about women’s heart health.
This year’s Otago leg saw more than 500 people take part in the 5km run/walk held at Hancock Park on May 14 (Mother’s Day).
