Jennian Homes Waiarapa has got into the 2018 Commonwealth Games spirit early by showing they are top of their game after being named a Franchisee of the Year finalist.
At a glittering awards evening on the Gold Coast overnight, the Masterton-based franchise was announced as one of four finalists for the national accolade.
The other finalists announced were Jennian Homes Wellington and Jennian Homes Coromandel, with Jennian Homes Nelson Bays named the overall winner.
The black-tie awards evening, held at the 5 Star QT Gold Coast Hotel and hosted by media personality Sam Wallace, was brought forward to coincide with the Commonwealth Games, with franchisees and their families given the opportunity to attend today’s opening ceremony.
This is thanks to Jennian Homes being a proud partner of the New Zealand Commonwealth Games team.
Jennian Homes Wairarapa franchise owner Gareth Norris says to be among the top echelon of the 30 franchise areas operated around the country is a great achievement for his dedicated team.
“Working for New Zealand’s most recognised and awarded building company means the benchmark among franchises is constantly being raised, so any recognition is always reassuring and motivating.
“The team is passionate about producing and delivering a consistently high standard of homes for families in the Wairarapa and this recognition shows we are helping raise the benchmark across the country.”
Jennian Homes chief operating officer Aidan Jury says the Wairarapa franchise is one of a number of consistent performers in helping strengthen the Jennian Homes brand nationwide and is deserving of its finalist award.
“Lead by Mr Norris, the Wairarapa team have worked hard to establish themselves as a steady performer within Jennian Homes, and are an integral part of the local Wairarapa community.”
With Jennian Homes being a proud partner of the New Zealand Commonwealth Games team and #EarnTheFern campaign, Mr Jury says the opening of the Games presented the perfect opportunity for Jennian’s annual awards evening.
“The Gold Coast is buzzing with athletes who are at the top of their game. I can’t think of a better time and place to celebrate our top players as well, says Mr Jury.
