The Properly Plastered Team

Jennian Homes Canterbury North are very proud supporters of all our trades and suppliers and we will feature them regularly on our page to promote their businesses and to thank them for all they do for us.

This week we are featuring Glenn and his team at Properly Plastered Ltd. The Properly Plastered team are exceptional to deal with and have a very high level of service, product knowledge and quality of finish.

Jennian Homes Canterbury North are thrilled to have the Properly Plastered team on board.

Founded in 1996 when owner Glenn Munro set out to put his name on what he saw as an underperforming industry. Glenn has grouped together a team of 14 renderers with over 90% being trained in-house to Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) PPCS tradesmen level.

We have systems in place that constantly sees Properly Plastered Limited set new standards of both quality and professionalism in our industry. The fact that we are New Zealand’s most awarded exterior render cladding company proves this year after year.

Post the Canterbury earthquake sequence Properly Plastered Limited grew to become New Zealand’s largest purchaser of Resene Construction Systems Products. Peaking at 30 staff and a network of subcontractors we proved we are very capable of managing large numbers of staff and a very high volume of work.

During this period, we took up the challenge of making our site safety systems far better than they had ever been with several of our staff having extensive training through Site Safe. We run our own SSSP on each site and Properly Plastered Limited has also recently gained a Site Wise green level rating with an 87% pass mark.

These days Glenn has been joined by wife Rebecca in running Properly Plastered Ltd and together with their team, they remain very proud to provide their clients with beautiful render finishes.

We have right-sized our business back down with a core group of best performing staff to suit the new Canterbury work environment and value the strong relationships we have forged with several of the Canterbury regions best builders during our 20+ years in business.

Pearce wins points race for Jennian Homes Trophy

Hawkes Bay professional Daniel Pearce has won the season-long points race to the Jennian Homes Trophy today after another great season on the national circuit.

His year will be remembered by his two big wins at the Ngamotu Classic and the Barfoot & Thompson Akarana Open which solidified his position as our best golfer of the summer.

Although he could only manage a T11 finish here at the Carrus Open, the 29-year-old had already earnt the right to hold aloft the trophy with his stela performances earlier in the season.

With this comes $5,000 in prize money, courtesy of Jennian Homes who continue to help grow the game and provide New Zealand’s leading amateur and professional golfers the opportunity to prepare for performing on the big stage.

“It’s great to be rewarded after a long and pleasing season on the Jennian Homes Charles Tour. I want to thank Jennian Homes for what they are doing for the game and giving us the chance to play in our own backyard,” said Pearce.

“It’s crucial to have tournaments like these at home with it giving us the perfect preparation to play well overseas and grow our careers.”

“I have had a tough couple of weeks to finish off, but I am stoked with what I achieved this year and hopefully I can build from here and play well in China.”

It’s been an amazing summer on the Jennian Homes Charles Tour which will return for the 2018/19 season in October.
