New Zealand Golf and Jennian Homes have announced a new partnership, making New Zealand’s most awarded franchise builder the first naming right sponsor of the Charles Tour.
Jennian Homes supporting the Charles Tour in this capacity has enabled New Zealand Golf to secure the continued development of the Tour’s future, ensuring longevity and a stable playing pathway to help New Zealand’s aspiring amateur and professional golfers.
Dave Wilson, Business Development Manager for Jennian Homes, says: “This is the first sports sponsorship Jennian Homes has ever undertaken from a national perspective. Aligning ourselves with golf, a great kiwi pastime, fits perfectly with the iconic New Zealand owned Jennian brand that’s been around for 33 years, and supporting the Charles Tour definitely extends our ‘building for the future’ philosophy – not only in houses but now in emerging golfers as well.”
Jennian Homes isn’t only focused on helping our up and coming golfers ‘build for the future’, they will also add another layer which will be of benefit to every day golfers throughout New Zealand.
Any New Zealand Golf member who builds a new home with Jennian Homes will not only have a brand new quality finish, they will also receive a new set of Cobra Golf Clubs, their golf club membership paid for one year*as well as enable a $1,000 donation back to the New Zealand Junior Golf Foundation to help ‘build the future’ of the young golfers throughout the country.
Nick Rowland, Commercial Manager of New Zealand Golf says; “It was imperative for us to not just find a partner for the Charles Tour, but to find the right fit. Jennian Homes reflects the same values of New Zealand Golf, where longevity and quality take precedence, and we are proud to be working in partnership with them.”
Jennian Homes has also added a new aspect to the Tour, The Jennian Homes Trophy. This is to be of similar mould to the FedEx Cup on the US PGA Tour and rewards players for being consistent over the full season as well as competing in more events.
This is an exciting time for all involved in the game of golf. Our current professional golfers performing well on the world stage such as Danny Lee, Lydia Ko and Ryan Fox, have all played on the Charles Tour, highlighting how this pathway has helped them launch their careers.
